Leaving School Early (Early Dismissal)

Q: How do I notify the school that my student needs to leave early? 

A: Parent/Guardian can email Attendance Office ([email protected],  

[email protected], or [email protected] ) report the partial-day absence in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parent must still be present at time of dismissal to sign student out. 

Q: Can students sign themselves out of school?

A: No, students cannot sign themselves out of school. A parent must be present to sign the student out, even if a note has already been provided to the front office/reported in the parent portal.
