Q: What do I do if my student is arriving late to school?

A: (PFAA and LE only) If the student arrives within the first 25 minutes of class, they should report directly to class. If they arrive after 25 minutes, parent must come with the student to the front office and sign them in to school.


Q: What are the consequences of a student receiving a tardy?

A: At 5 tardies, parents and students will receive a written warning. At 10 tardies, a student must attend a restorative session during school. At 15 tardies, a parent meeting will be scheduled.


Q: Are tardies excused?

A: Tardies are excused for medical/dental appointments. A note must be provided to the front office or emailed to the Attendance Office ([email protected],  

[email protected], or [email protected] ) upon arrival. The doctor/dental note must include name, date, time, and doctor/dentist phone


Q: What does my student do when they come back from an excused medical/dental appointment?

A: Student can sign themselves in ONLY if they have a medical/dental note for their late arrival. If they do not have a medical/dental note or were late for any other reason, parent MUST come into the office with student and sign them in.
