How to Make a Stress Ball
How to Make a Stress Ball
Materials: two balloons, a funnel, rice (or flour)
1. Blow up one of the balloons and let the air out
(this stretches the balloon).
2. Attach the end of the balloon to a funnel, and pour in about ½ cup of dry rice. Flour can also be used, but must be packed in the balloon with the eraser end of a pencil.
3. Once the balloon is densely filled, tie the balloon.
4. Stretch or blow up the second balloon. After air is let out, cut off the very top portion of the neck of the balloon (about ¼ -½ of an inch).
5. Stretch the opening and push the tied balloon inside (tied side down).
6. Finally, tie off the outside balloon and “squish” a few times in your hand to make sure the ball is secure.
Stress ball may be decorated with markers, stickers, or other art materials. Stress ball can be used to help release any negative feelings, and can be very helpful before a test or performance!
