Counseling
The counseling office provides assistance with academic counseling including: graduation requirements, college entrance information, study skills, scholarship and financial aid information.
The counseling office is open during school hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located in the Media Center. Students are encouraged to seek counseling during their lunch hour whenever possible and parents are welcome to call with any questions they may have regarding their student's academic progress. There is also a career center available in the Media Center to assist students in making decisions regarding career options, college major exploration and college searches as well as resume building and interviewing techniques.
The Counselor is also available to help students with personal issues and social development within the limits of the Pupil Personnel Services Credential.

NCS Career Center Information
The website we use for the NCS Career Center is: www.bridges.com. This is a free service for Natomas Charter School Students and contains many valuable interactive tools for High School planning, College planning and Career planning with the ability to build a complete portfolio for each student. It is accessible from anywhere with Internet access!
In order for your NCS student to be able to access this service they must see their counselor to attain a password.
The Career Center itself also contains information on various colleges, careers, as well as scholarship and financial aid.
