Mr. Del Monte
It is an honor for me to be part of the ILP staff. For my first 3 years at ILP, I had the privilege of working as an advisor, as well as a workshop instructor for math and technology courses. I now work part-time, teaching the Web Design and Advanced Web Design workshops. Besides working at ILP, I am a full-time Web Developer for the California Department of Fish and Game, the vice-president of a Christian non-profit organization, and a youth minister at my church. I also manage a number of Web sites, including the sites for Natomas Charter School and the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center.
I have many interests, but my favorite thing to do is to spend quality time with my wife and three children. I am also a huge fan of soccer, and I love to watch and play soccer every chance I can get. I am an avid runner, and I participate frequently in local 10-K races. Living here in the great
state of California, I love to participate in many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, swimming, and skiing.
I love teaching Web Design! Each time I teach a course, I am astounded as students quickly master skills and create fantastic Web pages. Some of our ILP students, after completing one or both Web Design courses, have immediately obtained jobs in the field of Web Design, or have decided to focus on this area at the college level. Regardless of how far you want to take these skills, this course can be a lot of fun and be a big confidence booster for many students. I look forward to working with many more ILP students.
