Very Important Bus Survey - Response Due by Feb. 5th!

Attention Parents of Natomas Charter School Bus Riders:  Last week we sent a letter home with your student that included a short survey about how we are attempting to meet your transportation needs next year.  It is critical that we receive your input in order to make one last attempt to continue offering school bus transportation for next year.

Applications for the Middle School and High School Performing and Fine Arts Academy (PFAA) and for the Leading Edge (LE) programs are now available. The deadline for application submission for both programs is February 26 at 4:00 p.m.

H1N1 Prevention

We highly encourage students to bring hand sanitizer to school. Assemblies have been held for the Middle School students this week to discuss preventative measures they can take to avoid H1N1 exposure. Mr. Broughton will be discussing these measures with High School students this week. At the school level, all teachers will be provided with hand sanitizer for student use and desks will be sanitized twice per day: once before lunch and again before the end of the school day. Free and Reduced Lunch

Due to the state budget crisis and a drop in state funding, the NUSD has had to increase school lunch prices by 50 cents for the upcoming school year. Lunch prices for NCS students are $3. There is no change in the breakfast price. You may pay for your child’s meals in advance and online through our e-Funds program. Check the district website at www.natomas.k12.ca.us for more information.
